Angel’s Share Triplewood

Inspired by the memory of a Triple Wood Whisky that Mick tasted years ago, our goal was to pay homage to this dram with a complex, layered mouth feel and richness on the palate. Our single malt has been aged for 2.5 years, firstly in a Rye Solera barrel (previously filled with Bourbon) then an ex-European Brandy barrel and finally a PX Sherry cask. In between every barrel we’ve strategically cut the spirit and allowed the water to take on the essence of the oak so the spirit isn’t “shocked” in its final bottling cut.
